Did you know that there are an estimated 2.9 BILLION fewer birds in North America today than there were in 1970 due to habitat loss?* That’s nearly 25% of our bird population GONE in less than the span of an average human lifetime!
For more than 30 years, Wild Birds Unlimited – Little Rock, has been “connecting people to nature” by educating our neighbors on how not just to feed the birds, but how to support a healthy backyard ecosystem.
We understand that extending a positive environmental impact beyond the backyard is also critical, so many of our bird feeders and houses are now made using recycled plastics instead of wood helping preserve forests and keep plastics out of the landfills, and we encourage employee use of reusable drink containers and towels as opposed to single-use plastics and paper towels. We also encourage our customers and staff to get involved with organizations such as Arkansas Master Naturalists; and we financially support local and national organizations that share our values such as the Audubon Society of Central Arkansas and The National Wildlife Federation.
We see our relationships with our clients as partnerships wherein when one succeeds, all succeed; and what’s good for our backyards is good for the planet.
